The Lutgert Companies have announced that the new Lutgert Professional Center has been LEED Gold certified. Located just south of Pine Ridge Road at 4850 Tamiami Trail North in Naples, it is the only LEED Gold certified multi-tenant Class A office building in Collier County. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a globally recognized green certification that ensures buildings are designed and constructed with strategies aimed at improving performance in energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
Utilizing sustainable practices that leave a smaller footprint on Naples’ resources, the Lutgert Professional Center’s energy-efficient construc on has set an elevated standard. Touch-free technology is installed throughout the building, and floor-to-ceiling Low-E glass provides the maximum amount of natural daylight and views to benefit tenants’ well-being. Adhering to LEED’s green building framework, the luxury office building was certified to the Gold level for its access to alternative public transportation, light-colored roofing material, indoor air quality, and practical solutions with low-flow fixtures and use of low-emitting materials, including paint, coatings, and flooring systems. DeAngelis Diamond served as the general contractor of the three-story office building designed by David Corban Architects. Grady Minor was the project’s engineering firm and landscape architecture was designed by Jeffrey S. Curl of eMerge Design.
